As a mother of (currently) 2 missionaries, I've learned that it's hard & pricey to send packages, AND our missionaries get tired of the same old songs...SO, my solution is to send missionaries a piano improvisation of their favorite hymns. Still the same songs, but combined in a unique way that reminds these missionaries they are known, seen, and loved!
